Governance
We aim to set the standard for good corporate citizenship in the logistics industry.
We take seriously our commitment to meet legal, ethical and economic responsibilities. We are committed to ethical behaviour and create a balance between the needs of shareholders and the needs of the community and the environment in which we operate.
Actions that demonstrate our efforts in this regard include:
Code of Conduct
Our Code of Conduct outlines the mandatory standards of behaviour that are expected of anyone who works for, or represents, FMH Group, including employees, contractors, consultants and directors.
The Code does not describe every situation, law, rule or policy. Instead, it provides a framework to inform decision-making and help individuals to navigate the appropriate course of action.
Sustainability Commitment
Every day we strive to differentiate ourselves through continual improvement in every area of our business. As part of this commitment we have an eye on the future. We believe that we have an obligation to our customers, our employees, our partners across the supply chain, and the environment to operate our business sustainably.
Chain of Responsibility
We are committed to ensuring customer solutions are conducted in the safest possible manner and that the risks associated with freight transport are managed appropriately.
As such, we seek to maintain compliance with all laws and regulations governing transport and logistics, including the HVNL and the applicable Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations.
Quality Management System
We understand that quality is essential to enhancing our long-term business success, professional reputation, employee welfare and job satisfaction and we will work tirelessly to deliver the highest quality to all our stakeholders.
efm has developed a Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with ISO 9001:2015. Maintenance of the QMS is central to the delivery of our commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Modern Slavery Statement
Modern slavery involves the most serious forms of exploitation and includes human trafficking, slavery, servitude, forced marriage, forced labour, debt bondage, deceptive recruiting for labour or services, and the worst forms of child labour.
FMH Group and all its subsidiaries do not condone any form of human rights abuse, including modern slavery. It expects all employees, suppliers, and subcontractors to uphold a culture of integrity, honesty, and commitment to ethical labour.
We are committed to improving our governance framework to minimise and prevent risks of modern slavery and strengthening our internal and external modern slavery awareness program.
Whistle-blower Policy
FMH Group is committed to creating a culture that encourages lawful, honest and ethical conduct by its employees in all its business activities. Our Whistle-blower Policy sets out how an employee may disclose suspected misconduct and to clarify that whistle-blowers may be protected.
