Sustainability Commitment
We are guided by the principles set out by the United Nation’s Global Compact; an initiative dedicated to shaping a sustainable future. Our value system and principled approach to doing business creates our solid foundation for our approach to corporate sustainability.
There are three pillars to our Sustainability Commitment: People, Planet and Governance.
A summary of our Sustainability Commitment is below.
People
As service-based businesses, employees across the Group are one of our greatest assets and we have a responsibility to provide them with a healthy, safe and supportive workplace. We strive to deliver on this commitment through various initiatives. We also strive to make a positive impact on people outside our organisation and we are always looking for new ways to champion social causes.
Planet
We recognise that the environment is threatened by challenges on an unprecedented scale, including climate change, water supply, energy, biodiversity and agriculture. We are conscious of our own carbon footprint from our direct emissions as well as via our supply chain. Therefore, we are focused on identifying solutions that will address our environmental responsibilities across our network.
Governance
We will only be able to positively influence environmental, social and economic development by integrating sustainability into our corporate governance. We are developing initiatives to this end including considering sustainability within the corporate strategy and performance measurement.
